ROADS COMMITTEE TO INSPECT GOVT ONGOING PROJECTS.

The Select Committee on Roads and Transport will visit government on going road projects on Thursday, 27,2024.

Addressing the Media in Parliament,the chairman for the committee,Mr Kennedy Nyarko Osei, explained that this will be their first time to visit such projects

He specifically mentioned Kasoa Winneba Road, Tema Mpakadan, Dodowa Road, and the Tema Boankra Road to be visited.

He hinted that the Tema Boankra project would not cost less than two million Ghana cedis.

He added that the Boankra inland port will not be  a success if the road linking to the communities and the people are in a bad shape.

However, earlier today, the minority members on the committee were led by the ranking Mr Adjei Mensah to visit some of the projects.

The majority member of parliament for Akyem Swedru,Mr Nyarko Osei, described the action by the minority members on the committee  as unfortunate.
