11,000 RECRUITMENT INTO SECURITY SERVICE: MAJORITY DEBUNKS ALLEGATION.

The deputy majority whip and MP for Tolon constituency, Habib Iddrisu has debunked allegations of that the Interior Ministry will be recruiting 11,000 personnel into the security service.

Speaking at the press conference in response to the alleged recruitment by the minority, he stated that the ministry of interior is not doing any recruitment.

The majority in Parliament insisted that the current exercise undertaken by the Ministry is not a clandestine recruitment as peddled by the minority but an exercise geared towards clearing the backlog of applications pending before the various security agencies. 

Deputy Majority Whip Habib Iddrisu stated that accusations by the Minority are orchestrated in an attempt to induce political tension ahead of the 2024 general elections.
