427,701.00 USD DONATED TO  CONSTRUCT NATIONAL CATHEDRAL- MINISTER 

Minster for Tourism,Arts and Culture Mr Andrew Kofi Egyapa  Mercer has emphatically stated that there are some  amounts of funds raised through private donations in Ghana and the United States

Answering questions on the  floor of Parliament on 12th July 2024, Mr Mercer revelation that a total amount of thirty-three million four hundred and forty-four thousand  seven hundred and four cedis seventy-four pesewas was raised in Ghana to construct the National Cathedral. 

He added that an amount of $four  hundred and seventy-seven thousand seven hundred and one USD dollars were raised in the United States of America.

The minister said this when the member of parliament for NorthTongu Mr Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa asked him the total amount of funds raised through private donations  in Ghana and the United States  of America for the construction of the National Cathedral projects.
