NDC  STAMPEDING PUBLIC SERVANT SALARIES -AFENYO MARKIN 

The Majority leader in Parliament has accused the NDC for stampeding public servants salaries. 

Explaining his point, he mentioned that, the NDC knows that after the elections, there will be no budget meanwhile they need to approve the first quarter budget to be able to settle all salaries. 

He added that, they want to give the international community a certain impression that Ghana is lawless which is not true. 

According to him, the NDC wants to drive businessmen away because under the 1D1F, businessmen are going to create more employment which is their fear. 

He added that their main aim is to conspire with the speaker to prevent the free SHS bill from being passed into law. 

He said in spite of the challenges, the free SHS has benefited many Ghanaians. 

However, the Effutu lawmaker made it clear that the member of parliament for Agona West, Madam Cynthia Mamle Morrison is part of the NPP caucus in parliament.

He condemned the actions by the NDC members in parliament for removing their name tags and pulling their seat to the majority position in spite of the clerk diligently arranging the place in order.
