10% INCREMENTS OF PUBLIC WORKERS SALARY UNACCEPTABLE - AFENYO MARKIN 

 

 

Minority leader Alexander Afenyo Markin has been expressed dissatisfaction in the 10% increments in base pay for public sector workers, with implementation set for January to December 2025.

 

However,making comments after the presentation of the business statement, the minority leader stated that from 2018 to 2024 there’s been a much higher percentage of increments by the previous administration,hence the 10% increment by the Mahama administration is unacceptable..Voice

 

 

Mahama will not fly airtcraft and bath in the air,Union Leaders gladly accepted the  10% increase-Mahama Ayariga rebates  

 

 

Meanwhile, responding to the unacceptable 10% increase stated by the minority leader, majority leader Mahama Ayariga disclosed that pursuant to meetings held with workers of the country and their leaders, the 10% increments was gladly accepted by them.

 

He noted that accepting 10% as against 25% or 30% is a vote of confidence in the leader, with the confidence in president Mahama that when he collects the public purse he will not be flying aircraft and bathing in the air, he jabbed them.
