*Ghana's Petroleum Industry Under Threat: Minority Caucus Sounds Alarm Over Israel-Iran Conflict* 

 

 

The Minority Caucus in Parliament is warning about the potential impact of the escalating Israel-Iran conflict on Ghana's petroleum industry. Rising crude oil prices and investor withdrawals from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) are major concerns.

 

Some potential consequences to occur are disruptions to the petroleum industry could lead to economic instability in Ghana.

 

 Rising crude oil prices may result in higher fuel prices, affecting consumers and businesses.

 

The Deputy Ranking member on the energy committee, Mr Collins Adomako Mensah has called on  government to  adopt pragmatic measures to mitigate the potential impact of the conflict on Ghana's petroleum industry.
