PRU EAST MP RAISES SECURITY CONCERNS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY, AS INTERIOR MINISTER PROMISES JOINT SECURITY TO CURB THE SITUATION. Member of Parliament for Pru East, Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Boam has raised some concerns about the security situation in the country particularly in his constituency. In an exclusive interview, Mr Kwaku Boam narrated a recent arm robbery attack on travelers that resulted in the death of a businessman at Suraj which has become a burden for the people of Pru East. The MP had asked the minister of interior, Hon Muntaka Mohammed -Mubarak on the concrete steps the ministry is taking to curb armed robbery and violent attacks along the Ejura-Jeji highway. However, the minister has promised to deploy 50 trained policemen on the highways in Pru East to prevent future attacks. Member of Parliament for Pru East, Mr Emmanuel Kwaku Boam has raised some concerns about the security situation in the country particularly in his constituency. 

 

 

In an exclusive interview, Mr Kwaku Boam narrated  a recent arm robbery attack on travelers that resulted in the death of a businessman at Suraj which has become a burden for the people of Pru East. 

 

The MP had asked the minister of interior, Hon Muntaka Mohammed -Mubarak on the concrete steps the ministry is taking to curb  armed robbery and violent attacks along the Ejura-Jeji highway.

 

However, the minister has promised to deploy 50 trained policemen on the highways in Pru East to prevent future attacks.

Mr Kwaku Boam expressed satisfaction with the tightening of security on our highways.

 

He also called on his constituents to be patient as the situation will be solved.
