Atta Mills settles a Mother's debt over GHC 4.100 At Elimina Poly Clinic. The member of parliament for Komenda Edina Eguafo Abirem , Hon, Samuel Atta Mills, has settled the debt and set free a frustrated mother who was detained at the Elimina Poly Clinic for her inability to pay medical bills after two weeks of treatment. According to the lawmaker and ranking member on the public accounts committee, he encountered the Dutch Komenda woman when he took a patient to Elmina Polyclinic for treatment. The woman narrated to him that her son, who was admitted and treated for two weeks, has been detained by management of the facility due to an unpaid medical bill of ghs 4,100.00. He further promised to visit the family to ensure that the boy continues his education without any hindrance.
