Ghana Tree Crop Diversification Project Launched, Aiming for $12B Annual Exports The Ghana Tree Crop Diversification Project has been officially relaunched by the President of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama, with a $200 million World Bank-supported program. The project aims to distribute millions of seedlings to 30,000 farmers, benefiting 52,000 households and 185 SMEs. The government targets $12 billion annual exports by 2035, with each of the six priority crops generating $2 billion in export earnings. The project focuses on industrial processing, value addition, and inclusive growth. The NDC government invites all stakeholders to join the effort, saying "let the Ghana Tree Crop Investment Summit 2026 mark the turning point" towards a more resilient and export-driven economy.
