Fantekwa South to Benefit from Free Seedlings Distribution - Minister Buah The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Kofi Armah Buah has emphatically stated that, Fantekwa South will be a beneficiary of the free seedlings distribution. According to him, in March 2025, the president H.E John Dramani Mahama launched a program "Tree for life reforestation initiative" A massive nationwide reforestation campaign aiming to plant 30 million trees to restore degraded landscape combat illegal mining ( galamsey) and boost climate resilience. He added that, 50 hectares of plantation were undertaken in Worobong South Forest Reserve in the constituency. Mr Armah Buah noted that the ministry will continue the implementation of the initiative nation wide and the Fantekwa South will again benefit from the free seedlings distribution for wood lot establishment and the reclamation of degraded mind-out areas will be educated and sentitized. Fantekwa South to Benefit from Free Seedlings Distribution - Minister Buah

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Kofi Armah Buah has emphatically stated that, Fantekwa South will be a beneficiary of the free seedlings distribution.

According to him, in March 2025, the president H.E John Dramani Mahama launched a program "Tree for life reforestation initiative"

A massive nationwide reforestation campaign aiming to plant 30 million trees to restore degraded landscape combat illegal mining ( galamsey) and boost climate resilience.

He added that, 50 hectares of plantation were undertaken in Worobong South Forest Reserve in the constituency.

Mr Armah Buah noted that the ministry will continue the implementation of the initiative nation wide and the Fantekwa South will again benefit from the free seedlings distribution for wood lot establishment and the reclamation of degraded mind-out areas will be educated and sentitized.

He said this when the member of parliament for Fantekwa South Mr Duke William Allen Kwame Ofori Atta asked the minister the plans of the ministry to provide Fantekwa South with tree lots under the tree for life initiative.
