The Minority Whip Mr Frank Annor Dompreh reacting to his victory in the court case challenging his win in the 2024 election advised the National Democratic Party not to destroy pink sheet if they claimed they have won an election. According to him, the NDC claimed they had won when they could not prove with their pink sheet in the court room. The minority in parliament has condemned the current violence ongoing in Bawku and has called on the government to restore calm and peace in the area. Addressing the press, the ranking member for the Defence and Interior committee, Rev John Ntim Fordjour called on the government to demonstrate greater urgency and decisiveness as the deteriorating situation in Bawku is a national concern.
