ELECTROCHEM  GHANA LIMITED ATTACKED BY NDC THUGS.

ElectroChem Ghana limited at Ada Songor was attacked around early hours on Thursday morning 9th January 2025 by some NDC thugs.

Recounting  the ordeal to the media, the  Operations Manager, Mr Nene Odeopeor Siada, revealed that, these NDC thugs  who were armed, vandalized their workers bungalow and stole some properties belonging to them.

He mentioned that they took  away five jungle motor bikes,electricity meters, fridges, fuel pumps and smashed heavy duty machines windscreens.

He added that, a  sector of their concession of salt mine was also stolen. 

Narrating the incident to SATA Radio UK, one of the workers said at exactly 4:50am on Thursday morning, about ten gentlemen who were armed drove into their premises with a Chinese pick up car number GW 1643-24 claiming to have been sent  from the NDC headquarters to take over the company. 

He said they destroyed all CCTV cameras and made away with some factory equipment. 

Also, some residents living in fear in the Ada communities called for military protection as they were been beaten by these thugs. 

They added that huge poly tanks that were given by Mac Dan to serve as reservoir were also destroyed which they claimed that their party is in power. 

Some group of alleged NDC thugs tried to assault the media team who visited the community.
