MINORITY CALLS ON GOVT TO CALL HIS NDC THUGS TO ORDER
The minority in parliament has called on President John Dramani Mahama and his government to call his NDC thugs to order.
Addressing the media, the Deputy Whip, Mr Jerry Ahmed Shaib said the police have to protect the electoral commission to enable them work safe and sound to declare the Ablekuma North seat to the NPP for winning after recollating.
He therefore called on the entire election security service and the Ghana Police Service to provide adequate security and ensure law and order in the country and to the electoral commission.
This follows as a result of some NDC thugs attacked and vandalized the electoral commission office and their properties.

According to him,
The order of the high court mandated the Ghana Police Service to provide security for the electoral commission to coalite the Ablekuma North constituency results.
Mr Ahmed Shaib raised the concern of the violence and insecurities in the country after the NDC was voted into power on 7th December 2024. He mentioned that Mr Totobi Quakyi, Lt Col Gbevlo- Lartey and Mr Basintale who are key members of the NDC lead these thugs.
He concluded that the Ablekuma North constituents need their member of parliament as the NPP is leading in the results.
