Transport Minister Outlines Strategy to Strengthen Commuter Bus Services Across the Country. The Minister of Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has provided an update on ongoing efforts to improve public transportation and ensure efficient movement for commuters across Ghana. Speaking to the media, Hon. The leadership of workers at Volta Aluminium Company Limited (VALCO) has expressed concern over GIADEC's announcement to secure strategic investors for VALCO's modernization, alleging it's a rushed privatization without stakeholder consultation. GOVERNMENT OF GHANA SETTLES US$709 MILLION EUROBOND OBLIGATION The Ministry of Finance has successfully settled a US$709 million Eurobond obligation on 30th December 2025, ahead of its due date, marking another significant milestone in Ghana’s economic recovery and debt-management efforts.
