GALAMSEY IS NOT A THREAT IN MY MUNICIPALITY- MCE The Municipal Chief Executive for Atiwama Nwabiagye South, Mr Wisdom Osei Boamah has emphatically stated that, his municipality is not facing any challenges with galamsey. Explaining his response, he noted that, there are only two small scale miners who are legitimate owners of the concession so there is limited complain about it. Mr Osei Boamah highlighted some challenges confronting his municipality. After appearing before the local government and rural development committee, Mr Osei Boamah called on the president to fast track the Afari hospital project as the presumption of ownership has caused it delay. people mistakenly believe it belongs to the municipal authority. He requested the president's intervention to fast-track the commissioning of a project. The Municipal Chief Executive for Atiwama Nwabiagye South, Mr Wisdom Osei Boamah has emphatically stated that, his municipality is not facing any challenges with galamsey.
