ATEBUBU AMANTIN FACES WATER CRISIS. The Municipal Chief Executive for Atebubu Amantin in the Bono East, Mr Thomas Mas'wud Musah Ayaaba has highlighted some challenges confronting his municipality. He mentioned that, the municipality faces a severe water crisis with low water tables and inadequate supply. Speaking to the media after appearing before the local government and rural development committee, Mr Ayaaba explained that he has engaged the community water system to provide temporary solutions while working towards a permanent fix. He added that, they are taking advantage of government policies like the "Akoko nkitikiti" to empower the women and support farmers through their father's Service Center initiative. He mentioned some projects the municipality is currently undertaking. renovating the assembly block and assembly hall, constructing a toilet facility at Tezako and paying outstanding certificates to contractors for zonal projects. He mentioned that,  the municipality faces a severe water crisis with low water tables and inadequate supply.
