TWIFO HEMANG LOWER DENKYIRA FACES INTERNET CONNECTIVITY CHALLENGES District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira Mr Patrick Fiable has said one of the major challenges facing his district is internet connectivity especially, areas with poor network coverage. Mr Fiable requested for assistance with Internet infrastructure including installation of masts. Electricity coverage expansion to growing communities and also connection of towns to the national grid. Updating the press on activities in his area, he revealed that, he has inherited several legacy projects, some dating back to 2012-2016, and has made progress on several, including: A CHIP compound started in 2015, near completion, A 6-unit classroom block abandoned for 8 years, near completion, A 3-unit classroom block near completion, Staff accommodation for district officials, including the District Coordinating Director and Finance Officer. TWIFO HEMANG LOWER DENKYIRA FACES INTERNET CONNECTIVITY CHALLENGES

District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira Mr Patrick Fiable has said one of the major challenges facing his district is internet connectivity especially, areas with poor network coverage.

Mr Fiable requested for assistance with Internet infrastructure including installation of masts.

Electricity coverage expansion to growing communities and also connection of towns to the national grid.

Updating the press on activities in his area, he revealed that, he has inherited several legacy projects, some dating back to 2012-2016, and has made progress on several, including:

A CHIP compound started in 2015, near completion,

A 6-unit classroom block abandoned for 8 years, near completion,

A 3-unit classroom block near completion,

Staff accommodation for district officials, including the District Coordinating Director and Finance Officer.

He again mentioned new projects, including: Construction of 2 CHIP compounds. Construction of a 6-unit classroom block and a 3-unit classroom block,

drilling of 9-10 mechanized boreholes and 3 non-mechanized boreholes.

Mr Patrick Fiable expressed appreciation for progress made and appealed for support to address the challenges faced by the district.

TOLON DISTRICT FACES OPEN DEFECATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE CHALLENGES. The Tolon District in Ghana's Northern Region is grappling with open defecation due to lack of toilets in many households. The District Chief Executive Alhaji Seidu Braimah has revealed and outlined measures to address it. However,the district has undertaken sanitation exercises, including regular cleaning of gardens and refuse waste dams.
