NANUMBA SOUTH DCE SEEKS INCLUSION IN SOCO BANK'S SECOND PHASE. The District Chief Executive for Nanumba South, Mr. Musah Abdul Rashid, is concerned about his district being left out of an intervention by SOCO Bank and is seeking support to be included in the second phase of the project. Addressing the media, he provided an update on the progress of various projects and initiatives in his district, highlighting 15 projects ongoing, with 2 completed under legacy projects. He said construction of a kindergarten school is underway, with contractors at the roofing level. Renovation of a health center and primary school have been completed. NANUMBA SOUTH DCE SEEKS INCLUSION IN SOCO BANK'S SECOND PHASE.

 

 

 

The District Chief Executive for Nanumba South, Mr. Musah Abdul Rashid, is concerned about his district being left out of an intervention by SOCO Bank and is seeking support to be included in the second phase of the project. 

 

Addressing the media, he provided an update on the progress of various projects and initiatives in his district, highlighting 15 projects ongoing, with 2 completed under legacy projects.

 

 He said construction of a kindergarten school is underway, with contractors at the roofing level. Renovation of a health center and primary school have been completed.

 

 

Notifying on health issues, a CHIP compound project is ongoing, with the contractor promising to complete within three weeks.

Fumigation exercises have been carried out to combat malaria, and motorbikes have been procured to support environmental health and sanitation units.

 

 

The district has limited access to electricity, and Mr. Abdul Rashid is seeking support to connect communities to the national grid.

 

 A project is underway to reassess and launch facilities to provide quality network access to communities as the district has 22 overseas communities that are difficult to reach, and Mr. Abdul Rashid is seeking support to improve access.
