Deputy Minister Warns Against Aiding Foreigners in Circumventing Mining Regulations. The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Mr Yusif Sulemana has emphasized that the revocation process of mining license will be done in accordance with the law, with concession holders being given a chance to rectify any issues before their licenses are revoked. He said their goal is to ensure that mining concessions are being used effectively and that the benefits of mining are shared fairly among stakeholders. The member of parliament for Bole revealed that concessions will be revoked if the holders are not actively mining or paying the necessary fees, such as mineral rights. He emphasized the need for Ghanaians to benefit from the country's mining resources and for regulations to be enforced to prevent exploitation.
