Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Lawyer Sosu emphasized that the fight against Galamsey is a matter of intergenerational equity, requiring responsible management of natural resources to ensure their sustainability for future generations.

 

Hon Sosu highlighted the alarming rate of water body destruction, citing the pollution of rivers and streams.

 

He noted the increasing number of deaths and accidents associated with Galamsey, with many more cases likely going unreported.
