Finance Minister to Present 2026 Budget on November 13 The Majority Leader, Hon. Osman Mahama Ayariga, has announced that the Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, will present the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Ayariga stated that the presentation will be made on behalf of the President, in line with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution. He urged all Members of Parliament to take note of the date and be present for the budget presentation. The Majority Leader also appealed to the Ministry of Finance and other government ministries and agencies to submit their budget estimates early to facilitate timely consideration and approval. Hon. Finance Minister to Present 2026 Budget on November 13

 

The Majority Leader, Hon. Osman Mahama Ayariga, has announced that the Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, will present the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

 

Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Ayariga stated that the presentation will be made on behalf of the President, in line with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution.

 

He urged all Members of Parliament to take note of the date and be present for the budget presentation. The Majority Leader also appealed to the Ministry of Finance and other government ministries and agencies to submit their budget estimates early to facilitate timely consideration and approval.

He added that during the week of the budget presentation, committees’ business will also be conducted in line with Order 216(2) and Order 67 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
