Government to Partner with Private Companies for Hospital Equipment - Health Minister Ghana's Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has announced plans to involve the private sector in healthcare infrastructure development. Speaking during the 2026 budget statement debate, Akandoh revealed that the government will partner with private companies to provide equipment for hospitals through an "equipment placement" arrangement. This initiative aims to ensure hospitals have the necessary equipment to provide quality healthcare services.
