*Minority Calls For Immediate Review Of 24-Hour Economy Market Program* The Minority in Parliament is calling on government to take a second look at the implementation of its 24-Hour Economy Market Program, demanding an immediate comprehensive and non-partisan review. According to the Minority, the program in its current form is poorly conceived and disconnected from the actual development needs of many communities. Addressing the press, the Ranking Member on the Local Government Committee, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye, said the program must be redesigned to be needs-based and demand-driven. He stressed that implementation should only be done where genuine needs have been established, guided by a well-developed plan to inform the selection of projects. "An existing market should be rehabilitated where necessary or expanded. And markets already under construction should be completed rather than abandoned or demolished," Mr. Asenso-Boakye stated.
