He also acknowledged Ghana's courage and determination in promoting inclusive development, citing its progress as an inspiration to the African continent.

 

The Prime Minister highlighted Ghana's role as a beacon of hope for democratic governance and progress in West Africa, demonstrating the potential for other nations to follow suit.

 

PM Modi's visit marks a significant milestone in India-Ghana relations, with both countries elevating their bilateral partnership to a Comprehensive Partnership. This upgrade reflects a shared commitment to deepen cooperation across various sectors, including:

 

According to him, India and Ghana aim to double their bilateral trade in the next five years, with Indian companies investing nearly $2 billion in about 900 projects in Ghana.

 

Both nations will strengthen cooperation in counter-terrorism, training of armed forces, maritime security, defence supplies, and cyber security.

 

He added that, India will support Ghana's development initiatives, including the "Feed Ghana" program and the establishment of a Skill Development Centre.

 

PM Modi's visit to Ghana signifies a renewed commitment to strengthening bonds and fostering shared growth between the two nations.

He cited ancient democratic centers like Vaishali and the Rigveda, which promotes openness to ideas 

 

 He emphasized India's diverse political landscape, with over 2,500 political parties, and its linguistic diversity, with 22 official languages and thousands of dialects.
