The Minority in Parliament has criticized the Attorney General's decision to enter a nolle prosequi in the case of The Republic v. Kwabena Duffour & 7 Others, citing concerns over conflict of interest, lack of transparency, and undermining of accountability.

 

 

The Ranking of the select committee on constitutional and legal affairs, Mr Kwame Anyimadu Antwi raising the concerns said, Conflict of Interest, the Minority questioned Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine's role in the case, given his past involvement as defense counsel for Dr. Kwabena Duffour.
