Ahanta Language (Ayinda) Orthography Approved for Teaching in Schools. The Ahanta Language (Ayinda) orthography has been officially approved as part of the Ghanaian languages to be taught in schools. Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue, Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, made the announcement, citing the importance of preserving the Ahanta people's cultural identity and heritage. Ayinda is a Central Tano language within the Kwa branch of the Niger Congo language family, spoken by the Ahanta people of the Western Region. The Ahanta Language (Ayinda) orthography has been officially approved as part of the  Ghanaian languages to be taught in schools.

 

 Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue, Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, made the announcement, citing the importance of preserving the Ahanta people's cultural identity and heritage.

 

 

Ayinda is a Central Tano language within the Kwa branch of the Niger Congo language family, spoken by the Ahanta people of the Western Region.
