*‘This Will Reduce Air Transport Costs’ – Annoh-Dompreh Urges House to Back Ghana-Benin Air Services Agreement* Member of Parliament for Nsawam/Adoagyiri, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has urged Parliament to support the passage of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement between Ghana and Benin, saying it will help lower the cost of air travel. Contributing to the debate as the House adopted the Report of the Committee on Roads and Transport, Hon. Annoh-Dompreh described the agreement as “a clear, dedicated effort towards the reduction of the cost of air transport.” He noted that the move aligns with the continent’s broader mission of achieving free trade under the AfCFTA. “So I urge the House to support the passage,” he said. The Nsawam/Adoagyiri MP also commended the Minister of Transport, stating that he is “showing confidence, ably assisted by his Deputy, and blazing the trail.”
