✨️✨️✨️✨ ️ Denkyɛmkyɛ  ✨️✨️✨️✨️

It is described as 'Hat of Hats' and was made by King Osei Tutu 1 (Opemsuo). It consists of elephant

hide with gold casts of ram's horn, the head of a crown bird (Onwam), a sea shell and adwira plant

(portuca oleracea).

The Hat signifies that the Asantehene as occupant of the Golden Stool and the Supreme spiritual and

political head ot the Asante Kingdom, derives his power and authority from the Denkyemkye. 

The Hat is used only once during the installation of the Asantehene when he swears with the Busumuru  Sword at Pampaso: an area in Kumasi.
