Minority caucus in parliament has donated a sum of ( 200,000.00) Two hundred thousand Ghana cedis to kantamanto fire victims today 15th April, 2025. Addressing the thirteen association trader's leadership, the minority leader Mr Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin appealed to banks that have loaned the affected victims to reduce their interest rates to ease their burden. The Effutu lawmaker also urged the traders to pay their taxes to contribute to the development of the country. He called on the government to come to the aid of the affected victims. The minority in parliament has condemned the current violence ongoing in Bawku and has called on the government to restore calm and peace in the area.
