MIGHTY MINORITY DONATE 200,000.00 TO KANTAMANTO FIRE VICTIMS. Minority caucus in parliament has donated a sum of ( 200,000.00) Two hundred thousand Ghana cedis to kantamanto fire victims today 15th April, 2025. Addressing the thirteen association trader's leadership, the minority leader Mr Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin appealed to banks that have loaned the affected victims to reduce their interest rates to ease their burden. The Effutu lawmaker also urged the traders to pay their taxes to contribute to the development of the country. He called on the government to come to the aid of the affected victims. However, some of the affected victims complained about their leadership. According to them, they preferred the minority to share the money to them individually rather than to go through their leadership. Minority caucus in parliament has donated a sum of ( 200,000.00) Two hundred thousand Ghana cedis to kantamanto fire victims today 15th April, 2025. 

 

 

Addressing the thirteen association trader's leadership, the minority leader Mr Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin   appealed to banks that have loaned the affected victims to reduce their interest rates to ease their burden.

According to them, they preferred the minority to share the money to them individually rather than to go through their leadership. 

 

Speaking on behalf of the thirteen association leadership at Kantamanto, Mr Aikins Boakye Mensah promised the traders to give vivid accounts of monies donated to them on Thursday  17th April 2025. 

 

They showed appreciation to the NPP party for their massive support to them since the unfortunate tragedy.
