*Hon Vondee Raises Concerns Over Education Challenges in Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency*

The Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency, Hon. David T.D. Vondee, has highlighted the pressing challenges faced by schools in his constituency.

Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Vondee emphasized the need for urgent attention to address these issues.

Hon. Vondee lamented the severe shortage of teachers in rural schools, where a single teacher is often tasked with handling multiple classes.

He stressed that this situation makes it impossible for students to receive the attention and quality education they deserve.

To address this imbalance, the MP is advocating for the deployment of more teachers to rural areas.

The MP also drew attention to the detrimental effects of illegal mining (Galamsey) on education in his constituency. Many young boys are abandoning their studies to engage in Galamsey, which not only affects their education but also their future prospects.

This trend has contributed to a concerning gender disparity in schools, with fewer boys taking exams compared to girls.

Hon. Vondee commended the approach of former President John Dramani Mahama in addressing Galamsey.

He expressed hope that the current administration would learn from these policies and work towards finding lasting solutions to this menace.

In a message to students in his constituency, Hon. Vondee wished them well in their exams and encouraged them to look forward to a brighter future beyond their academic pursuits.

He urged them to stay focused and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

The MP's concerns highlight the need for collaborative efforts from stakeholders to address the challenges facing the education sector in the Twifo Atti Morkwa Constituency.
