Speaking to the media , the MP questioned the clarity, funding structure, and operational roll out of the new initiative. He called for detailed information on the services the trust will offer and how they will align with the NHIS, warning that the proposed allocation of 20% of NHIS funding is financially unsustainable. Speaker of Parliament Approves ECOWAS Delegation Members The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford, has released the list of members for the ECOWAS delegation. Addressing the parliament, he stated that those in favor of the motion to approve the following members to form the delegation of parliament to the ECOWAS community may do so: - *Delegation Members*: - Hon. Rickett Kwaku Hagan (Leader) - Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah - Hon. Laadi Ayi Ayamba - Hon. Eric Aful - Hon. Dominic Napare - Hon. Patricia Appiagyei - Hon. Kwame Ayimadu Antwi - Hon. Speaker of Parliament Raises Concerns About Delegation to ECOWAS Amid Representation Discussions The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has raised concerns about delegation matters while speaking to Members of Parliament. Hon. Bagbin revealed that negotiations led to an agreement for him to be an observer. However, discussions evolved to suggest that Madam Millicent Amankwa Yeboah should be the observer. Considering ECOWAS precedents and rules, it was accepted that the Deputy Minority Leader should be a member of the delegation to ECOWAS. The Speaker of Parliament Hon.
