MINORITY ACCUSES FINANCE MINISTER OF MISLEADING PARLIAMENT IN MID-YEAR BUDGET REVIEW The Minority in Parliament has accused the Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, of presenting misleading information during the July 24,2025 mid-year budget review. At a press conference in Accra, senior members of the Minority Caucus challenged the credibility of several key claims made by the Minister, arguing that many of the stated achievements were either exaggerated or inherited from the previous administration. Speaking to the media, the Ranking Member on the Finance Committee, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, said: “The Finance Minister has gone to great lengths to praise himself for economic indicators that were only made possible due to the groundwork laid by the previous NPP government. Minority Leader Urges NHIS Coverage for Hepatitis B to End “Silent Destruction” The Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, Hon. Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has raised serious concerns about public health efforts surrounding viral hepatitis in Ghana. Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Afenyo-Markin highlighted key achievements made in combating hepatitis, including attaining over 90% infant immunization coverage for Hepatitis B, introducing free treatment for Hepatitis C, mandating antenatal testing for Hepatitis D, and developing a national viral Hepatitis D control program. *Be Vigilant* _By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare_ _Day 209 (28/07/2025)_ > _1 Peter 5:8 ”Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”_ The main contender of our faith—Satan—is very crafty. The devil mostly approaches with words and thoughts with the intent to deceive. The tragedy of man’s fall from glory all began when Eve was deceived by the devil. The Bible describes the devil as one who comes as a wolf in sheep’s clothing and as one appearing as an angel of light. Jesus also calls him the father of all lies. We must, therefore, be careful and wise to know his crafty devices in order to resist him. Here are three reasons why we must be careful of the Devil’s craftiness: *1. You can lose your destiny* Matthew 4:8-9 "Again, the Devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, i

Governs Kwame Agbodza, has delivered an update to Parliament on the current state and future direction of road construction and rehabilitation across the country. Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Agbodza emphasized that the new approach to funding road projects will not follow the traditional models, such as GETFund or the existing Road Fund mechanisms.
